CCA Regional Food Bank Clatsop Community Action operates the CCA Regional Food Bank in Clatsop county, a regional food bank of the Oregon Food Bank Network. We help fight hunger in Clatsop county by distributing food to 18 local agencies; including pantries, hot meal sites, shelters & other programs helping low-income people. Food Stamps The Food Stamp Program helps supplement food budgets for low-income working families and individuals, people on public assistance, seniors and people with disabilities. Women, Infants and Children (WIC) WIC is a federally funded special supplemental nutrition program that serves pregnant women, breastfeeding women with children under 12 months of age, non-breastfeeding women with children under 6 months of age and infants and children under 5 years of age. Fathers, grandparents, foster parents or other guardians may apply for WIC for their children. Oregon Housing & Community Services The OHCS assists with food programs mostly operated by volunteers. Food is acquired by private donations and the programs are coordinated through regional coordinating agencies.
